Credit Worthiness

The Schufa Credit Score
From time to time, companies inquiring about seminars ask me to provide evidence of the financial healthiness of my training business or check my credit score.
Indeed, before awarding contracts for training and other services, it makes sense to to avoid trouble by ensuring that the contractor is in a sound financial position.
In Germany, this is most commonly measured using the Schufa Score.
A good Schufa score signals that your training business is in safe hands. My score per 16 June 2026, 08:11 AM CET, is at:
934 = Hervorragend (= Excellent).
What It Means
Here is Schufa’s description of the score value:
“Excellent: 776 to 999 points
Based on the data stored by SCHUFA, individuals with a score in this category pose a low risk of default compared to the general population. Their SCHUFA score reflects excellent creditworthiness, and they have the best chances of obtaining a loan from a bank.”
The Schufa classification:

Environmental Friendliness

Electricity from Renewable Sources
My electricity service provider, Stadtwerke München (SWM), is certified provider of renewable, environmentally friendly energy.
I use their offer “Ökostrom” (environmentally friendly electricity) for my office and to charge my car.
Over a long distance, I also charge solely with “Ökostrom”.
