Description
The corporate Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) preparation class is an intensive and focused training program for beginners in managing projects. In three intensive sessions (23 contact hours), participants meet the prerequisite for exam eligibility and gain deep knowledge of project management, including practical skills in project management methods such as:
- Traditional methods
- “Waterfall”
- “Rolling wave”
- Agile methods
- Hybrid approaches, mixing the methods above
Companies that perform projects as contractors for paying customers benefit from making it easier to win new project business. The trainer will put special emphasis on this application of the knowledge learned.
The class concludes with a certificate of participation that helps candidates verify to PMI that they have completed “23 hours of education”, a prerequisite for exam eligibility. The examination is performed and billed separately by PMI.
We strongly recommend that students join PMI, the Project Management Institute, as a member at least for the year in which they work towards certification.
Successful candidates earn the CAPM certificate from PMI, proving their ability to manage customer projects as true project professionals.

Notes
- For a corporate qualification, please choose the live online or on-site version. A CAPM class should ideally have up to 12 attendees, the maximum is at 15. For larger number of participants, choose the number of seminar sessions appropriately. Together, we will then find the date of the class that is suitable for you based on the availability schedule.
- CAPM candidates may as an alternative participate in corporate PMP classes, which may be more than they need for the moment, but may find later helpful when they “upgrade” to the PMP certification.
- On-site classes outside the Munich Metropolitan area may come with reimbursement of hotel and travelling costs.
- For customers inside Germany, the formal invoice will show USt./VAT separately. For B2B customers inside the EU, reverse charge applies.
- The trainer has passed PMI’s certification as both, CAPM and ATP-Instructor**. However, the class is not an official ATP class.
